Professional Student Services Personnel (PSSP) of OSSTF District 25 is comprised of approximately 100 professional members working in the OCDSB. The PSSP Bargaining Unit Executive is elected each May.

Board Certified Behaviour Analysts

Orientation and Mobility Specialists for the Blind

Psychology Staff [Psychologists, Psychological Associates, Psycho-educational Consultants]

School Social Workers

Speech Language Pathologists

Communicative Disorders (CDA)

Occupational Therapists

  Members wishing to access the Early Retirement Gratuity Payout or the SULP must have an Apply To Education profile.

  If a PSSP Member is in private practice (children in Ottawa as clients) then you must declare the potential Conflict of Interest . The key is that the client knows about the free OCDSB services and still wishes the clinician's services. Getting this in writing is important. This is merely a sample.  Many practicing clinicians have their own forms which satisfy the Board policy.

  These are guidelines that were sent out by the Superintendent of LSD.  If a PSSP professional is having difficulty arranging space, then it may be helpful to refer to this guideline.  If there continues to be an unwillingness to accommodate the PSSP member, please inform your supervisor first. You may also seek union advice.
