OSSTF has financial and insurance services for Educational Workers.

OTIP

OTIP (Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan) is committed to providing quality insurance benefits and advice for the best value.
OTIP was conceived in 1977 when a small group of teachers came together with the idea that the teaching community's insurance needs could be served better collectively.
They began by selling long term disability and life insurance to teacher groups in Ontario.
Soon afterward, the five teacher affiliates joined to officially form OTIP – the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan.
Members can get quotes for property insurance, auto, life as well as retiree health benefits.
District 25 and OTIP have formed a partnership to serve members better. Here is the District 25 Link.

Active Retired Members : In 1996, OSSTF/FEESO established a new type of membership specifically for Active Retired Members (ARM). This allows retired members of OSSTF/FEESO who wish to remain actively involved with their colleagues politically or socially to rejoin OSSTF/FEESO.

Active retirement offers an opportunity for continuing involvement with the educational community at both the local and provincial levels. District 25 has an ARM Chapter.
